Offering a variety and quality of dim sum rarely seen on any menu, and all at an incredibly affordable price, Bayswater restaurant Dim Sum Diner is a must for anyone who appreciates authentic Asian cuisine – with a bit of a twist.
A minute’s walk from both Bayswater and Queensway stations, Dim Sum Diner sits comfortably in Zone 1, albeit on hardly the most glamorous road in the capital. A street packed full of Asian restaurants, it certainly takes something special to stand out among the masses here – and Dim Sum Diner does just that. With a white stone, glass-fronted entrance, the venue provides a preview of the cool tranquility of the restaurant inside – and that alone will be all the convincing you’ll need to choose this place over the others. Not an overly large space, wooden benches inside create a relaxed modern American diner feel, lining either wall of the restaurant in such a way that you feel simultaneously not too close to and not too distant from neighbouring tables.
